Ghostblood Book Release: Ghostblood is OUT!

Ghostblood cover depicting Alric and Elis walking in the Hand of Destiny.

After a wait that was much longer than I had anticipated, I'm proud to announce the release of the new edition of "Ghostblood", initially available as a Kindle e-book via Amazon, and soon available as a POD paperback as well.

"Ghostblood" is set in the Twin Worlds, the same setting as "North Star", but in a different geographical area. It has a separate cast of characters, so it's not necessary to have read "North Star" to enjoy "Ghostblood".

It was significantly more work to review and update "Ghostblood" compared to "North Star". Due to the fact that the area of the setting where "Ghostblood" takes place was further developed in the years since I first wrote the story, and that I'm starting to consider ideas for a sequel, this edition of "Ghostblood" has seen a significant revamp compared to what was published years ago - in addition to sporting a new Preface and Acknowledgements section, recognizing the importance Kevin's Watch had in "Ghostblood"'s history.

"Ghostblood"'s synopsis:

"In the Empire of Mathklyr, tradition is law, and the will of Oinrin—goddess of fate and death—is said to shape every life. At the sacred ceremony of adulthood, Alric Ingeist claims the path of a soldier, seeking power and glory within Mathklyr’s rigid hierarchy. Elis Allin Aeronis, unwilling to bow to the empire’s customs, makes a declaration that should be impossible—one that leads to her disgrace and exile.

As years pass, Alric’s ambitions lead him down a road he never expected, while Elis, fleeing Mathklyr, risks death or worse as her life takes a turn beyond imagination. But fate is not so easily denied. When she returns, it is with dangerous knowledge and a task that could shake the empire to its core.

Their paths cross again in a moment of blood and upheaval, setting events into motion that neither of them could have foreseen. In the depths of the ancient necropolis—where emperors are crowned and destinies are sealed—they will discover what lies at the heart of Mathklyr… and the truth written in the Book of Oinrin-Laurel."

If you have the chance, please do pick up a copy (it's free for Kindle Unlimited readers) and leave a review, I would appreciate it! You can find links to Amazon here.
